From character casting, to filming, and final editing—I played a role in every step of the production process for this video. Primary roles of mine came in the post-production process where I was responsible for color correction, color grading, rotoscoping, motion tracking, and a majority of the motion graphics.

The studio we shot in was a beautiful open loft with plenty of natural lighting. Considering the shoot took place over the course of a single day, it was necessary to color correct the background separate from the foreground characters to create consistency from shifts in hue and brightness throughout the day. Choosing cool tones for the background gave the video a technological feel that allowed a complementary space for the added data animation and product shots to live in. This being a no speaking role, the actors needed to communicate non-verbally with their body language and facial expressions. I amped up the warmth and vibrancy of the characters so the audience could better connect with them—going so far as roto-ing the irises of a character in one scene so that his eyes/thoughts were easier to see.

This video was a race against time and the whole process was a huge learning opportunity for me. My rotoscoping knowledge has come a long way since 2019, and AI has really helped speed up the process to get an initial roto down. looking back at this video, I would've loved the extra time to refine the edges around hair in select scenes.
